| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents Mehaffey was found guilty at a parole hearing of violations of his conditions of supervision that included having sexual contact with a known six year old female victim. He was sentenced to fifteen days in custody. Mehaffey had held the victim at knifepoint when he told her to pull her pants down. He then sexually assaulted her. Mehaffey pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court on 06/02/1992 to one count of Rape of a Child in the Third Degree. He was sentenced to thirteen months in prison. This conviction was the result of Mehaffey sexually assaulting the known fifteen year old female victim. Mehaffey was 37 years old at the time and was well aware of her age at the time. He established a relationship with her and that he took advantage of. Mehaffey is on active supervision with the Washington State Department of Corrections, Everett Field Unit (425) 290-3200, for a period of 36 months and he has the following conditions of supervision: Do not enter bars, taverns, casinos, or lounges or any location where alcohol is the primary item for sale Do not enter establishments where the primary business is the sale of adult material or pornography Do not enter parks, playgrounds or schools or any place where children congregate as defined by community corrections officer Do not enter sex related business to include X-rated movies Do not purchase, own or have in your possession or under your control any firearm or deadly weapon Do not reside with anyone who is a parent/legal guardian of minor children Do not use illegal or controlled substances without valid prescription from a licensed physician Do not use, possess, consume or purchase alcohol Do not work at or be in places frequented by minors Have no contact with minors Maintain lawful employment and provide proof of employment to DOC staff as directed Report to and be available for contact with assigned community corrections officer as directed Shall reside at a location and under living arrangements as approved by CCO |
