On 022408 at approxIMATELY 0145 hOUrs, Deputy D Alexander and I were at Gabby's Bar located at 1801 NORTHWEST HIGHWAY 19 IN Crystal River conducting a security check in response to a crowd of approximately 150 patrons in the parking lot. Deputy Alexander placed a white female under arrest (CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE case number: 08-02-0921) for affray; securing the female in handcuffs and placing her in the rear of her patrol vehicle (unit #5500). Deputy Alexander walked away from her vehicle to search for the other person involved in the affray when I observed the defendant walk up to Deputy Alexander's patrol vehicle and open the rear driver's side door. I then clearly heard the defendant say to the female secured in the patrol vehicle; "come on, get out". At that time, I placed the defendant under arrest for aiding escape. She was handcuffed (double-locked) and secured in Deputy Alexander's patrol vehicle. A few MInutes later, I transferRed the defendant to my patrol vehicle and transported her to THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY where she was turned over for booking.
