| Narrative: | Officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to the Sunoco gas station in reference to a verbal disturbance. An employee had told dispatch that a man and woman were fighting at the store. The female had locked herself in the rest room and told employees to call the police. The victim stated that she had gotten into an argument with her live in boyfriend at their home. It turned physical when he pushed her several times resulting in minor cuts and scratches. Eventually they ended up at Sunoco where the argument became physical again. Video surveillance showed the defendant follow the victim around the store and attempt to grab her multiple times. The video also showed him grab her throat just before she locked herself in the bathroom. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail where he is held without bond. |
