| Narrative: | On the above date and time, an officer of the Brooksville Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a silver Cadillac at the intersection of Cobb Road and Cortez Blvd. Contact was made with the occupants and a K-9 sniff was conducted of the vehicle’s exterior. The K-9 gave a positive alert and the interior was searched. Officers located a small amount of crack cocaine in the purse of Jeri Chambers who was a passenger in the vehicle. Chambers was arrested and transported to the Hernando County Jail. While being processed at the jail, officers located a crack pipe hidden in Chambers buttocks. A check of her identification revealed she was on felony probation for sale of cocaine. Chambers was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, intro of contraband into a detention facility, and violation of probation. She is being held without bond. The other passenger in the vehicle, Tracy Moten, and the driver, Daniel Parker, were issued notice to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia also found in the vehicle. |
