| Narrative: | The Brooksville Police Department Patrol Division reports that an officer noticed Jesse R. Beaman pushing a Walmart shopping cart north on S. Broad St. When the officer made contact with Beaman he noticed that the cart contained several new in the box electronic items and one item still had the security bands attached. While asking Beaman how he obtained the items he stated he just bought them from Walmart but could not produce any receipt. Beaman then in a spontaneous utterance stated that he walked out of Walmart without paying for the items. Walmart confirmed that the items were stolen and had a value of $526.00. Beaman was taken into custody for retail grand theft and held at the Hernando County Jail under a $2,000.00 bond. |
