| Comments: | In 1980, Jimmy THOMPSON was convicted of RAPE 1st DEGREE in Pierce County. According to official file documents, THOMPSON (age 25) sexually assaulted and stabbed a known adult female. The victim called the police to tell them she had been raped and stabbed. Officers found the victim in the middle of the living room partially unconscious and bleeding. Earlier, THOMPSON had called the victim and asked her if she would baby-sit his infant daughter; when he arrived to pick her up, he informed her she no was no longer needed to baby-sit as his wife did not want to go out. THOMPSON then asked the victim for a knife and she told him that he knew where they were. He went into the kitchen, obtained a butcher knife and left the residence. However, he returned about ten minutes later and watched television with the victim for about 10 minutes. THOMPSON then got up and began hitting the vicitm with his fist while holding the knife in his other hand. He told her to be quiet, roll on her stomach, and to pull her pants down. THOMPSON tied the victims hands with tape, pulled her pants down and sexually assaulted her. The victim as able to remove the tape with her teeth, so THOMPSON tied her hands and feet with an electrical cords and telephone cords. THOMPSON sexually assaulted the victim again. The victim pleaded with him not to kill her. He took some money from the victim's purse and asked her where there was more money. He then sat on the victim's back and stabbed her four to five times. The victim began holding her breath, hoping he would think she was dead. THOMPSON checked her pulse and pulled eyelids up to see if she was dead and grabbed her neck, stretched the skin away; and cut her neck two to three times. He then left leaving the victim for dead. For this offense behavior THOMPSON was charged and convicted of Rape 1st degree and Robbery 1st degree. THOMPSON participated in a Sex Offender Treatment Program while incarcerated. Due to his sexual-criminal history THOMPSON has been classified a LEVEL 3 sex offender. |
