| Narrative: | On the above date and time, officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to 1039 S. Mildred Avenue in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who stated she and her husband, Jody Flowers, were involved in a verbal altercation in the front yard of the residence. The argument became physical when Flowers attempted to choke her with a rope. A struggle ensued and the two ended up fighting on the ground. There were witnesses to the incident whose story matched the victim. The victim also sustained minor injury consistent with her statement. Jody was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery. He was booked into the Hernando County Jail with no bond. The victim refused medical treatment. |
