| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents, Hicks pled guilty to the crimes of Child Molestation 3rd degree and Communication with a Minor for Immoral Purposes and was given a term of 72 months in prison. Hicks sexually molested two unknown females, ages 13 and 14. The two victims were walking home when Hicks asked them if they wanted to drink with him and he also told them that he would make their life hell if they did not go with him. Out of fear the two victims went to a park at which time Hicks attempted to have the victim drink beer. He told them that no one was leaving until the beer was all gone. At some point the 14 year old female stood up to leave and she was groped by Hicks who also tried to kiss the victim. Hicks hugged the other victim and slapped her buttocks. In 1980 Hicks was convicted of the crime of Rape 3rd degree in which he sexually assaulted a unknown 19 year old female. Hicks had asked to use the phone as his vehicle had broken down. Hicks left this victim locked the door. Hicks entered the home by the back door and armed himself with a knife. The victim in this crime came out of her bathroom after hearing a noise and was sexually assaulted by Hicks. Hicks was given a term of not more than five (5) years in prison for this crime. During his time in prison this time he attended sex offender treatment. Hicks is no longer on supervision. Shall not purchase, own or possess any firearm. |
