| Comments: | On 01/16/92 Jacobson was convicted in Yakima County Superior Court for Murder 1st Degree and three counts of Unlawful Imprisonment. This conviction stems from Jacobson and two friends robbing a local pizza parlor. Entry was gained when an employee exited to dump trash. Jacobson had a knife and one of his friends carried a sawed off shotgun. Three employees, including one 17-year old female, were forced into the back of the business and ordered to lie on the floor. A fourth employee, the manager, was taken to the office to open the safe. Once finished they brought the manger and three other employees into the cooler. They demanded all their money and valuables. Once this was all given to Jacobson and his accomplices, one accomplice shot and killed the manager and they all fled the scene in the victim''s vehicle. Jacobson and his accomplices drove to Idaho. There they robbed a pawnshop by tying up the manger and a female who walked in during the robbery. They took more than 20 guns at the time from the shop. They were captured the next day after making a large purchase of ammunition. Jacobson did not get convicted for this offense in Idaho. As a result of this conviction here, Jacobson received 291 months in prison and 24 months supervision for this crime. Jacobson has been identified as a clear risk to the community and this notification is required. |
