| Comments: | According to official documents Cantu pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court on October 18, 1994 to three counts of Child Molestation in the First Degree. He was sentenced to 108 months in prison as a result of this conviction. The victims in these incidents were a known eight year old female, a known 10 year old female and a known 12 year old female. He offended against one victim on a couple of occasions, approximately four months with another victim and for approximately two years with the third victim. The relationships with these victims occurred as a result of Cantu's involvement with the church that they all attended. Cantu was described as a leader and elder within that church. Cantu declined Sex Offender Treatment while in prison, but did attend and successfully complete Sex Offender Treatment while in the community with a certified treatment provider. Cantu is not on active supervision and his only requirement at this time is to register as a sex offender. |
