| Comments: | According to official documents, Lafond was convicted of the following crimes: Child Molestation 1st Degree, Indecent Liberties and Incest 2nd Degree on November 25, 2003 and was sent to a Juvenile Institution. Lafond was released on 01/18/2006. The victim in his crimes was 10 years old. Lafond reports that he was viewing pornographic material and became aroused. Lafond then planned out how he would accomplish his crime. Once the victim was alone in her home, Lafond who was also in the home, again became sexually aroused and reached underneath the victims shirt and fondled the victim's breast. Later in the day Lafond was playing and had a game boy that the victim asked to play. Lafond told the victim that she could play with it if she gave him oral sex. The victim refused. Lafond displayed a pocketknife and made threats to kill the victim and her family if she did not do what he wanted. The victim was then forced to perform oral sex with Lafond. The victim resisted and was wrapped up in a blanket which was also placed in her mouth so that she could not make any noise. The victim was then raped by Lafond. The above incident was discovered when the victim returned to school and disclosed the assaults. Lafond disclosed during treatment that he offended against other children between the ages of 3 and 14, both male and female. Lafond while in treatment did not make any significant sex offender treatment until August of 2005. His work in treatment has been reported a below-average. An area of concern has been Lafond's physically and verbally aggressive behaviors in which he has verbally antagonized or provoked peers and on several occasions, has both thrown items at peers or physically struck or hit them. Lafond is no longer on supervision. |
