| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents Sawyer pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court on 08/24/1999 to one count of Rape of a Child 2nd degree and one count of Rape of a Child 3rd Degree. He was sentenced to 102 months in prison. This conviction was the result of Sawyer sexually assaulting the known 14 year old female victim and the unknown 13 year old female victim. Sawyer met the victims at a teen center and after the center closed everyone went outside. Sawyer went to a wooded area with the 14 year old victim where he sexually assaulted her. After they returned he went to the wooded area with the 13 year victim where he sexually assaulted her. Sawyer has admitted to offending against approximately 20 additional female victims ranging from ages 13 to 17. Sawyer completed sex offender treatment while in prison. He is on active supervision with the Washington State Department of Corrections, Lynnwood office (425) 771-7116 for a period of 36 months and has the following conditions: Do not purchase, own or have in your possession or under your control any firearm or deadly weapon Do not use, possess or consume controlled substances unless you have a legally issued prescription Maintain lawful employment and provide proof of employment to DOC staff as directed Obey all municipal, county, state, tribal and federal laws Report to and be available for contact with assigned community corrections officer as directed Shall reside at a location and under living arrangements as approved by CCO |
