| Comments: | COYNE, Kevin Robert In 1981, COYNE was convicted of Rape 1st Degree. According to official documents, COYNE sexually assaulted an unknown 13 year old male victim. COYNE jumped out of the bushes holding a knife and confronted the victim who was riding his bicycle delivering newspapers. COYNE grabbed the victim and pulled him into a secluded area and sexually assaulted the victim. In 1986, COYNE was again convicted of Rape 1st Degree. In that case, COYNE confronted the 12 year old male victim while armed with a knife. COYNE ordered the victim to walk to a secluded area while telling the victim that he would not kill him. The victim attempted to run and COYNE grabbed him and threw him to the ground. COYNE then sexually assaulted the victim while threatening to stab the victim. COYNE served 20 years in prison for these offenses. COYNE does not have any other known criminal convictions. COYNE participated in the Sex Offender Treatment program while he was incarcerated. Due to COYNE's sexual criminal history, he has been classified as a LEVEL 3 Sex Offender. This allows the Pierce County Sheriff's Department to disclose relevant, necessary, and accurate information to the public at large. This current notification is being done because COYNE has recently relocated from the King County area and moved to an area in unincorporated Pierce County.
