| Narrative: | Officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to the United Methodist Church in reference to a battery complaint. The victim and defendant were at the church for a dinner function. When the defendant went to greet the victim with a hug she told him not to touch her. This angered him and he pushed her nearly knocking her to the ground. The incident was witnessed by others attending the dinner. The defendant fled the location prior to officers arriving but was located hiding nearby. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail where he is held on $ 500 bond. |
