| Narrative: | On 2/21/2013 at approximately 2006 hours members of the Brooksville Police Department began an investigation in reference to the above listed offenses. The victim advised that Jones (who she had known for approximately one year) picked her up in the area of 203 East Ave. at which time she asked for a ride to a friend’s house. After she got into the vehicle, Jones drove off and refused to take her to her expected destination. Instead, he drove to the dead-end of Hendricks Avenue (off Hale Avenue) where he parked in a concealed location and physically attacked the victim. He choked her, battered her, and threatened to kill her if she didn’t remove her pants and have sex with him. The defendant then forced the victim to have sexual intercourse with him. After the attack, he later drove her to 101 Ponce De Leon Blvd. where he dropped her off and advised her that he would kill her if she told anyone about the incident. Jones was arrested for the above listed charges and held on bond totaling $40,000. |
