| Comments: | LOUGH, Lynn R. was convicted of his crimes in King County in 1990 then was free on appeal for four years before going to prison for approximately sixty months. LOUGH met his victim while employed as a paramedic teaching first aid classes. LOUGH made a date with the victim at her home and upon arrival fixed himself and the victim a drink. After consuming the drink the victim awoke the next morning to find that she had been sexually assaulted. At LOUGH'S trial, four other women testified that they too had been victimized by LOUGH in a similar fashion, however there were no additional charges filed in those alleged incidents. There were also allegations that LOUGH may have exposed himself to juvenile female baby sitter in his employ. Psychological reports describe LOUGH and his pattern of offending as deliberate and predatory, thus the concern for the community at large. It should be noted that all of the women victimized by LOUGH were not strangers to him and he used his social and professional contacts to commit his crimes. |
