| Comments: | According to official documents, in 1994 Lopez (age 39) raped a 30 year old woman not known to him. Lopez forced entry into the victim''s home put a knife to her throat and raped her. He was initially charged with Rape 1st degree and Burglary 1st degree. He pled guilty to Rape 2nd degree and Burglary 2nd degree. In 1979, Lopez (age 24) broke into the home of a 19 year old woman not known to him and attempted to rape her. He was initially charged with Burglary 1st degree with Intent to Commit Rape and Assault with Intent to Commit Rape. He pled guilty to Burglary 1st degree with Intent to Commit Rape. In 1977 Lopez was convicted of Rape 3rd degree. According to official documents, Lopez (age 22) raped a female (age 19) whom he had met earlier that day. Lopez pled guilty of Rape 3rd degree and received a 2 year deferred sentence. Lopez has an extensive sexual criminal history. Lopez was found to meet the criteria of a Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) and civilly committed to the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island (SCC) in 2010.
