SUBMITTED BY: CRUZ, ABNER 0517 (AR11121546) DID UNLAWFULLY RESIST, OBSTRUCT OR OPPOSE DEPUTY abner cruz of the citrus county sheriff's office, WHO WAS THEN AND THERE IN THE LAWFUL EXECUTION OF A LEGAL DUTY, OR EXECUTION OF LEGAL PROCESS, TO WIT: arresting the defendant on other charges, WITHOUT OFFERING OR DOING VIOLENCE TO THE PERSON OF SUCH OFFICER, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATE STATUTE 843.02. ON 070111, I RECEIVED A TELEPHONE CALL ADVISING THAT ON 062311 I MADE AN ARREST OF MR CHRISTOPHER HUNT AND THAT THE PERSON who I HAD ARRESTED WAS IN FACT MR MARC NORMAN HUNT. AT THAT TIME, I DID SOME RESEARCH USING THE D.A.V.I.D. SYSTEM As well as THE PS-NET SYSTEM, VERIFIED THAT THE INFORMATION I HAD RECEIVED WAS TRUE AND THAT mr MARC NORMAN HUNT HAD PROVIDED ME WITH INFORMATION ON 062311 WHICH BELONGED TO HIS BROTHER, CHRISTOPHER. I WAS ABLE TO TRACK DOWn MARC norman HUNT at SEVEN RiVERS REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER where he was a patient. i RESPONdED to the medical center AND LOCATED HIM IN ROOM 304. I ADVISED MR HUNT OF THE REASON FOR MY PRESENCE, TO WHICH HE STATED "I'M SORRY, I GAVE YOU MY BROTHER'S INFORMATION BUT AT THe TIME I BELIEVED I HAD A WARRANT FOR MY ARREST FOR CHILD SUPPORT." i made contact with medical staff who advised mr hunt would be medically cleared and that i could take him into custody. MR MARC HUNT WAS THEN PLACED UNDER ARREST, HANDCUFFED (double locked) behind his back, secured in the rear seat of deputy JOHNSON'S patrol vehicle and transported to the citrus county detention facility for further processing. upon arrival, he was booked and held on one count of resisting arrest without violence. his bond was set at $500.00, in accordance with the bond schedule.
