| Comments: | According to official documents, in 1995, Mark DAVIS lured an adult female victim to a vacant residence on the pretext of selling her some drugs. Once DAVIS had the victim in the vacant residence, he proceeded to punch the victim in her face knocking her onto a couch. DAVIS then sexually assaulted the victim and kept her there for approximately 20 minutes before allowing her to leave. DAVIS was originally charged with Rape in the Second Degree for the incident, but later plea bargained the incident to the above listed Indecent Liberties charge. In 1984, DAVIS was charged with Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Battery. DAVIS self admitted that he had touched the victim in a sexual manner. This case was later pled to an Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree. DAVIS's criminal history includes; 1987 Burglary 2nd Degree, 1990 Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree, 1990 Taking a Motor Vehicle without Owner's Permission, 2001 Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, 2001 Robbery 2nd Degree and Attempted Assault 3rd Degree, 2007 Failure to Register as a sex offender. He also has convictions for numerous misdemeanor offenses in his history. File material indicates DAVIS refused any formal sex offender treatment or psychological exams. Due to DAVIS's sexual crime and extensive criminal history, he has been classified as a LEVEL 3 Sex Offender. This allows the Pierce County Sheriff's Department to disclose relevant, necessary, and accurate information to the public at large.
