| Narrative: | On 05/07/2012 the Brooksville Police Department received a complaint of a sex offense involving an eight year old female. The incident reportedly took place in the Brook Haven Apartments in December of 2011. The eight year old female disclosed that on several occasions Mark Anthony Henry sexually battered her. On 05/09/2012 during an audio/video recorded post Miranda interview with the defendant Mark Anthony Henry he admitted committing the offense. The defendant is a high risk juvenile counselor at the Eckerd Youth Challenge program in Hernando County where he has been employed for the past five years. His place of employment has no relation to the location or victim of the offense. The defendant was placed under arrest and is being held at the Hernando County Jail on a $15,000 bond. |
