Probable cause affidavit: SUBMITTED BY: WRIGHT, TIFFANY 0658 (AR10115603) DID UNLAWFULLY COMMIT BATTERY UPON THE VICTIM BY ACTUALLY AND INTENTIONALLY TOUCHING OR STRIKING SAID PERSON AGAINST SAID PERSON'S WILL, OR BY INTENTIONALLY CAUSING BODILY HARM, TO WIT: THE DEFENDANT PUNCHED THE VICTIM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATE STATUTE 784.03(1)(A)(1). ON 063010 AT 1900 HOURS I RESPONDED TO 24 SOUTH HARRISON STREET IN BEVERLY HILLS IN REFERENCE TO A BATTERY. UPON ARRIVAL I MADE CONTACT WITH THE VICTIM, WHO ADVISED WHILE TAKING CARE OF WITNESS ONE'S DAUGHTER, THE DEFENDANT, MS MARY PROCTOR, WALKED INTO THE ROOM AND GRABBED THE VICTIM'S HAIR AND PUNCHED HER IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD TWO TIMES. WITNESS ONE THEN GRABBED THE DEFENDANT TO SEPARATE THEM. THE DEFENDANT LEFT THE RESIDENCE AND WITNESS ONE CALLED THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE. I MADE CONTACT WITH WITNESS ONE, WHO ADVISED THAT THE DEFENDANT, HER MOTHER, CAME TO THE RESIDENCE TO GET HER BELONGINGS. WHEN SHE LET THE DEFENDANT IN THE RESIDENCE, THE DEFENDANT BEGAN WALKING TOWARD THE BEDROOM WHERE THE VICTIM WAS STANDING. THE DEFENDANT THEN BEGAN HITTING THE VICTIM IN THE HEAD AND PUSHED HER UP AGAINST THE CRIB. WITNESS ONE THEN GRABBED THE DEFENDANT AND HELD HER AGAINST THE WALL UNTIL THE VICTIM AND WITNESS ONE'S DAUGHTER COULD GET OUT OF THE ROOM. THE DEFENDANT LEFT THE RESIDENCE AND WALKED TO 32 SOUTH HARRISON STREET. I RESPONDED TO 32 SOUTH HARRISON STREET AND MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT. UPON ARRIVAL THE DEFENDANT ADVISED THAT SHE WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH THE VICTIM. THE DEFENDANT STATED THAT EARLIER THAT DAY SHE HAD A CONVERSATION WITH THE VICTIM ABOUT PROBLEMS BETWEEN HER SON AND THE VICTIM. THE DEFENDANT STATED THAT WHEN SHE ARRIVED AT THE RESIDENCE, SHE HEARD THE VICTIM TALKING TO WITNESS ONE ABOUT THEIR CONVERSATION AND HAD CHANGED IT TO MAKE THE DEFENDANT LOOK LIKE THE BAD PERSON. THE DEFENDANT STATED WHEN SHE HEARD WHAT THE VICTIM WAS SAYING, "SHE LOST HER MIND, AND HIT THE VICTIM". I OBSERVED THE VICTIM TO ONLY HAVE REDNESS ON HER EAR AND NO OTHER INJURIES. I OBSERVED THE DEFENDANT TO HAVE THREE MINOR SCRATCHES ON HER NECK FROM THE WITNESS PULLING THE DEFENDANT OFF OF THE VICTIM. THE DEFENDANT WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST FOR BATTERY. SHE WAS HANDCUFFED BEHIND THE BACK AND PLACED IN THE REAR OF MY PATROL VEHICLE AND TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY. THE DEFENDANT'S BOND WAS SET AT $500.00 PER THE BOND SCHEDULE. *NOT-EXEMPT*
