| Comments: | According to official records, at age 15 Wetherington followed a non-familial female victim into her house after he had been hired to do yard work by the victims mother. The victims mother was not home at the time of the incident. Wetherington grabbed the victim, threatening to kill her if she screamed. The victim screamed and Wetherington beat, bound and gagged her. When Wetherington left the victim to lock the front door, she was able to escape out another door. At age 12, Wetherington also sexually assaulted a 7-year-old non-familial male, forcing the victim to take down his pants and touching the victims private parts. Wetherington does not have any other known criminal convictions. Wetherington participated in sexual deviancy treatment while incarcerated, but did not progress in the treatment. |
