| Comments: | WEST, Michael Rene recently moved from Snohomish County to Tacoma. In 1994 West was convicted of rape of a child in the second degree in Snohomish County. According to official documents, he met a 13 year old, non-familial female at a bus stop and invited her to a party that same evening. They met later at the party, which was being held at an abandoned residence. The victim consumed a large amount of alcohol and West sexually assaulted the victim. One of West's associates also attempted to sexually assault the victim but she managed to fight him off and escape from the residence. West's other convictions include criminal trespass, burglary, possession of stolen property, and robbery. He has no other known criminal history involving sex offenses. While incarcerated, West refused to participate in the Sex Offender Treatment Program.
