I RAN THE TAG THROUGH NCIC/FCIC WHICH REVEALED THE REGISTERED OWNER/DEFENDANT, MS MONICA MINOR, HAD A SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE FOR FAILURE TO COMPLETE A REQUIRED CLASS. I RAN THE DEFENDANT'S INFORMATION THROUGH THE D.A.V.I.D. SYSTEM AND OBSERVED A PHOTOGRAPH OF HER. AFTER VERIFYING SHE WAS THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE, I CONDUCTED A TRAFFIC STOP IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE RACETRAC GAS STATION LOCATED AT 1001 NORTHEAST 5ST STREET IN CRYSTAL RIVER. I MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT AND HER INFORMATION WAS CONFIRMED, AT WHICH TIME WITHOUT BEING ASKED ANY QUESTIONS THE DEFENDANT STATED SHE HAD RECEIVED A NOTICE IN THE MAIL AROUND THE FIRST OF DECEMBER WHICH INFORMED HER SHE HAD THIRTY DAYS TO COMPLETE A CLASS OR HER DRIVER'S LICENSE WOULD BE SUSPENDED. THE DEFENDANT WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST, HANDCUFFED (DOUBLE LOCKED) BEHIND HER BACK, SECURED IN THE REAR SEAT OF MY PATROL VEHICLE AND TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY FOR FURTHER PROCESSING.
