Probable cause affidavit: | SUBMITTED BY: SHARPE, COREY 0636 (AR08102705) did unlawfully and knowingly obtain, use or endeavor to obtain or use the property of THE VICTIM, to-wit: 1997 CHEVROLET LUMINA, by exercising control over said property with the intent to either temporarily or permanently deprive THE VICTIM of a right to the property or a benefit thereof, or did appropriate the property to HER own use or the use of any person not entitled thereto, and knew or should have known that said property was stolen, in violation of Florida Statutes 812.014(1) and 812.014(2)(c), AND did unlawfully traffic in or endeavor to traffic in property that SHE knew or should have known was stolen, to-wit: 1997 CHEVROLET LUMINA, the property of THE VICTIM, in violation of Florida Statute 812.019(1); ON 040508, THIS AGENCY RECEIVED A REPORT OF A GRAND THEFT AUTO FROM THE RESIDENCE LOCATED AT 3700 SOUTHEAST PARKWAY, HOMOSASSA. THE VICTIM ADVISED THAT HER 1997 CHEVROLET LUMINA FOUR DOOR HAD BEEN STOLEN AND SHE BELIEVED THE SUSPECT TO BE A MS PATRICIA CLAIRE. THE VICTIM ADVISED THAT PATRICIA CLAIR HAD ALLEGEDLY SOLD THE VEHICLE TO "J W TOWING.” ON 041408, THIS WRITER MADE CONTACT WITH MR JERRY WRIGHT, WHO IS THE OWNER OF J W TOWING. MR WRIGHT ADVISED THAT THE WEEK OF 040508, HE HAD BEEN CONTACTED BY THE DEFENDANT, LATER IDENTIFIED AS MS PATRICIA CLAIR, WHO ADVISED HIM THAT the VEHICLE WAS HERS AND SHE WISHED TO SELL IT. MR WRIGHT PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM MS CLAIR FOR $100.00 WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THE VEHICLE DID BELONG TO HER. MR WRIGHT WAS SHOWN A PHOTO PACK LINEUP CONTAINING THE PHOTOGRAPH OF PATRICIA CLAIR, AT WHICH TIME, HE IDENTIFIED MS PATRICIA CLAIR AS THE PERSON WHO HAD SOLD THE VEHICLE TO HIM. AT APPROXIMATELY 1130 HOURS, WRITER MADE CONTACT WITH MS PATRICIA CLAIR WHO ADMITTED TO SELLING THE VEHICLE TO "J W TOWING" FOR $100.00. THE DEFENDANT WAS THEN ARRESTED, HANDCUFFED BEHIND HER BACK (DOUBLE lOCKED) AND TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY FOR PROCESSING.
