| Comments: | According to official documents Scofield pled guilty in King County Superior Court on 02/08/1999 to two counts of Rape of a Child in the Second Degree. He was sentenced to 131 months in prison. Scofield served 68 days in custody and the remainder of his sentence was suspended. Scofield was granted a Special Sex Offender Sentencing Alternative that included his participation in community based sex offender treatment. These convictions were the result of Scofield sexually assaulting the known 12 year old male victim numerous times over a six month period. Scofield had known the victim for a long time and used the victim?s trust to groom him into the sexual assaults. On 02/17/2000 Scofield?s SSOSA was revoked and he served his original sentence in prison. The revocation was the result of Scofield being terminated from his community based sex offender treatment program after a number of minor and major treatment violations that placed him at high risk to reoffend. While in prison Scofield received infractions for sexual acts that supported his continued high risk to reoffend sexually. Scofield did participate in the sex offender treatment program while in prison. Scofield is not on active supervision and his only requirement is to register as a sex offender. |
