Comments: Sex offenders have always lived in our communities; but it was not until passage of the community protection act of 1990 (which mandates sex offender registration) that law enforcement even knew where they were living. In many cases, law enforcement is not able to share that information with you. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated. Further, such abuse could potentially end law enforcement's ability to do community notifications. We believe the only person who wins if community notification ends is the sex offender, since sex offenders drive their power through secrecy. According to official documents, Wilson pled guilty on August 3, 2010 to the crimes of Communicating with a Minor for Immoral Purposes via Electronic Communication and Possession of Depictions of a Minor Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct in Snohomish County Superior Court. He was given a term of 46 months in prison. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children informed the Everett Police Department that several complaints were initiated by MySpace about communications of a sexual nature between Wilson, age 45 and a minor female. A search warrant was served on Wilson's residence and over 200 images of minors as young as 6 years old were located on his computer. When Wilson's computer was examined it yielded the largest collection of bestiality videos and child sex abuse fantasy stories that Everett Police department had even seen. Over 800 pages of communication logs in Wilson's computer were also located in which Wilson told various minor females that he had traveled around the country in the past to meet and have sex with minors. While in prison Wilson completed the DOC Sex Offender Treatment program in January of 2013. Wilson is on Active supervision with the Everett Office of the Department of Corrections. 425-356-2800.
