| Narrative: | On the above date and time, an officer of the Brooksville Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a blue Oldsmobile for an equipment violation in area of 999 N. Broad St. The officer made contact with the driver Peter Korth who advised that his driver’s license was suspended. A computer check confirmed several suspensions to Korth’s license. Korth gave the officer consent to search the vehicle. In the vehicle, the officer found a white rocklike substance hidden in a cigarette pack that field tested positive for crack cocaine. Korth was then placed under arrest. Post Miranda, the subject admitted that the crack cocaine was his and he purchased it in South Brooksville prior to being stopped. Korth was charged with DWLSR and Possession of Crack Cocaine. He is being held at the Hernando County Jail on $20,000.00 bond. The vehicle was turned over to the registered owner. |
