| Comments: | BURRINGTON was released after serving a prison term for a 1995 conviction of Child Molest 3rd degree and Communication with a minor for immoral purposes. In that offense Mr. Burrington sexually assaulted two male juveniles, ages 15 and 16. who had spent the night in Burrington's cabin. Burrington was a friend of the victim's grandmother. The victims were spending Thanksgiving with their grandmother. Burrington purchased beer and provided it to the victims. During the evening, Burrington approached each victim at different times while they were sleeping and fondled them. In each instance, when the victims awoke Burrington requested the victim go upstairs with him. The victims told each other what had happened and left the residence in the early morning hours. It should be noted that earlier in the evening Burrington had loaded a firearm in front of the victims and left it loaded in the cabin. In the fall of 1974 through the winter of 1975 Burrington had sexually molested his three nieces, ages 10, 11 and 12 at the time. While incarcerated Burrington completed the DOC sex offender treatment program. He is to have no contact with his victims, minor children and avoid places where minors may be present. Burrington will be supervised by a Community Correction Officer. |
