The conviction stems from Schefflin (age 37) having sexual contact with a known 8-year-old female. Schefflin was sentenced to 22 months to life. He served 36 months and was released. Two weeks later, he was sent back to prison for probation violations where he served another 30 months in custody. Schefflin was again released, but arrested for probation violations in 2011 and sent back to prison until his release in June 2013.
