| Comments: | According to official documents Odidi pled guilty to one count of Rape of a Child in the Third Degree in Snohomish County Superior Court on 08/07/2002. He was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison. Odidi declined to participate in sex offender treatment while incarcerated. This conviction was the result of Odidi's part in a party at a motel room where he and a group of sailors provided alcohol to three unknown minor females ages 14 and 15 including the victim. Two other sailors were also charged with sexual offences resulting from this incident. One pled guilty and the other was acquitted in a jury trial. Odidi sexually assaulted the victim after she had been sexually assaulted by the two other sailors and had told each of them to stop. During the sexual assault the victim told Odidi to stop. He continued and the victim sustained a severe life threatening blood loss. Odidi stopped only after the victim screamed and he was told to stop by others in the room. He and his accomplices left. Later he did return to the motel to check on the victim's health. Odidi is not on supervision at this time and his only requirement is to register as a sex offender. |
