| Narrative: | On the above date and time, officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to 708 Hammock Rd. in reference to a complaint that wanted person, Richard Branon, was hiding in the trunk of his mother’s vehicle. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Branon’s mother who was parked in the driveway. She was cooperative with officers and opened the trunk of her vehicle and Branon was found hiding in there. He was detained without incident. Subsequent check of Branon’s identification revealed Hernando County Warrant #2012CF1157 for Burglary of a Structure and Burglary of a Conveyance. The warrant was confirmed via Teletype. Branon was placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail where he is being held on $6000.00 bond. It is unknown why Branon was hiding in the trunk of the vehicle, other than to not be seen by law enforcement. |
