The crime involved McVay sexually assaulting a four-year-old female who was living near his residence. He was sentenced to 41 months in prison with the sentence being suspended so he could complete sex offender treatment. When he failed to complete the requirements of treatment his sentence was reinstated. He was initially released from prison on 03/02/93. Since that time, McVay has been convicted of other non-sexual offenses with the last conviction being in 2003 for the crime of Burglary 2nd Degree.
