| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents Olson pled guilty in Pennington County, Minnesota District Court on 11/01/1999 to one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct 3rd Degree. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison which was suspended and he was placed on probation. This conviction was the result of Olson sexually assaulting the known thirteen year old female victim. The sexual assault occurred when Olson was alone with the victim at a friend's residence. His probation was revoked on 11/13/2000 as the result of a new conviction. On 03/20/2001 Olson pled guilty in Marshall County, Minnesota District Court to one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct 3rd Degree. He was sentenced to 27 months in prison. This conviction was the result of Olson sexually assaulting the known thirteen year old female victim. There were three witnesses who observed the sexual assault. It should be noted that Olson was on probation for his first sexual assault at the time this offense occurred. Olson was transferred to the state of Washington on 07/24/2002 through an interstate compact from Minnesota. On 03/03/2003 it was reported that Olson had inappropriate sexual contact with a known sixteen year old female victim. As a result, Olson's probation was revoked and he was returned to the state of Minnesoa to serve his original 27 month sentence. Olson participated in sex offender treatment and has been terminated from treatment on two occasions while in prison in Minnesota. Olson is currently on active supervision with the Washington State Department of Corrections, Marysville field office (360)-658-2150, for a period of 18 months and has the following conditions of supervision: Have no contact with minors Participate and make reasonable progress in chemical dependency treatment as directed Participate and make reasonable progress in sex offender treatment as directed Submit to polygraph examinations as directed |
