| Narrative: | On 8-25-2012 Brooksville Police officers were advised by employees of Patriot Metals that used “well pumps” were being turned in “for cash” and that the pumps were identified as belonging to MIKE’S PUMP & WELL SERVICE. Officers then responded to 920 Buena Vista Ave and made contact with MIKE’S PUMP & WELL SERVICE where it was discovered that approximately 20 “used” pumps were stolen from the Buena Vista location. On 8-29-2012 officers made contact with RICKY JOE STEPHENSON at PATRIOT METALS. When confronted with the testimony of several witnesses RICKY JOE STEPHENSON admitted to stealing the pumps and having others sell it on his behalf to PATRIOT METALS. RICKY JOE STEPHENSON was arrested and transported to the Hernando County Detention Facility without incident. STEPHENSON bond was set at $8,000 dollars. |
