| Comments: | In 1994, Robert Aronson pled guilty to two counts of Rape of a child in the first degree in Spokane County Washington. Aronson was sentenced to 210 months incarceration for each count. According to official documents, Aronson sexually assaulted three non-familial males, ages 9, 11 and 11, who were not known to him. In 1969, Aronson sexually assaulted a 12 year old boy not known to him in a park. For this offense he pled guilty to Soliciting a Minor for Immoral Purposes. In 1965, Aronson sexually assaulted a 14 year old boy not known to him. He was convicted of Indecent Liberties for this crime. In 1960, while serving in the US Army in Germany, Aronson sexually assaulted a 5 year old boy. It is not clear if Aronson knew the boy. He was sentenced to two years confinement and discharged from the Army. Aronson has participated in the sex offender treatment program. In 2011, Aronson was detained at the Special Commitment Center (SCC) on McNeil Island and referred for evaluation as a Sexually Violent Predator. In 2014, Aronson stipulated to being a Sexually Violent Predator and per the Stipulation and Agreement was afforded to opportunity to transition from total confinement to a Less Restrictive Alternative.
