SUBMITTED BY: MOORE, ANDREW 0619 (AR10116612) IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR A PERSON WHO HAS BEEN ARRESTED OR LAWFULLY DETAINED BY A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER TO GIVE A FALSE NAME, OR OTHERWISE FALSELY IDENTIFY HIMSELF IN ANY WAY, TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER OR ANY COUNTY JAIL PERSONNEL, TO WIT: THE DEFENDANT PROVIDED HIS BROTHER'S NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATE STATUTE NUMBER 901.36(1). ON 083110 AT APPROXIMATELY 1954 HOURS, VEHICLE BEARING AN OREGON TAG OF 067ECR WAS STOPPED FOR VIOLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE, RUNNING A RED LIGHT. THE DEFENDANT MR ROBERT FITCHETT WAS THE FRONT PASSENGER. I ASKED THE DEFENDANT IF HE HAD A DRIVER'S LICENSE OR IDENTIFICATION CARD, TO WHICH HE STATED THAT HE DID NOT HAVE IT ON HIM. I THEN ASKED HIM TO PROVIDE ME with HIS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, TO WHICH HE STATED, THAT HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT WAS. THE DEFENDANT WAS THEN ASKED HIS NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH TO WHICH HE PROVIDED ME WITH MR WILLIAM FITCHETT AND A DATE OF BIRTH 092773. UPON RUNNING THIS SUBJECT'S NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH THROUGH "D.A.V.I.D."; I OBTAINED A FLORIDA DRIVER'S LICENSE NUMBER. "K-9" DEPUTY ROWAND ARRIVED ON SCENE AND CONDUCTED AN EXTERIOR SNIFF OF THE VEHICLE, AT WHICH TIME, "K-9" TUCK ALERTED. THE DEFENDANT WAS ASKED TO STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND ASKED IF HE HAD ANYTHING ILLEGAL ON HIM, AT WHICH TIME, HE EMPTIED HIS POCKETS ON THE HOOD OF MY PATROL VEHICLE . DEPUTY ROWAND THEN CONDUCTED A PAT DOWN OF THE DEFENDANT, AT WHICH TIME, HE LOCATED THE DEFENDANT'S DRIVER'S LICENSE IN HIS RIGHT PANTS POCKET. THE DEFENDANT THEN ADVISED THESE DEPUTIES THAT HE HAD GIVEN US HIS BROTHER'S NAME; BECAUSE, HE HAD WARRANTS. THE DEFENDANT WAS THEN PLACED UNDER ARREST, HANDCUFFED (DOUBLE LOCKED) AND SECURED in the REAR OF MY PATROL VEHICLE AND TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY (CCJ) FOR BOOKING AND PROCESSING. THE DEFENDANT 'S BOND WAS SET AT $500.00 PER THE BOND SCHEDULE. NO FURTHER ACTION BY THIS DEPUTY.
