On 5-17-1990 Kohl pled guilty to Two Counts of Child Molestation 1st Degree and was given a term of 54 months in prison. The victims in his crimes were two boys, ages 8 and 9. Kohl was a trusted family friend at the time of the abuse. He maintained access to his victims through his relationship with their mother. Kohl's offense history began at age 13 when he molested a neighborhood female who was 6 to 7 years old. Kohl admits to five minor victims. Kohl's participation in the Sex Offender Treatment Program at Twin Rivers was seen as poor. He was seen as unable to demonstrate any behavior changes while in treatment. Kohl is considered to be a high risk to reoffend. If Kohl was to reoffend, it would most likely involve him dating a woman with children or befriending children and taking them on social outings. He would isolate himself and the victim from others and then sexually assault the victim. Kohl is no longer on supervision. |
