| Narrative: | On the above date and time, officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to 311 E. MLK Blvd. in reference to a verbal disturbance. Upon arrival, it was learned that the complainant was in a verbal argument with her son, Ruben Garcia, over a video game. Garcia was yelling profanities in the street at his mother and refused to obey officer’s orders to cease. Ruben was told to leave the area to de-escalate the situation but refused and ran towards his mother in an aggressive manner threatening to damage her property. These actions were observed by several citizens in the area. Garcia was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting without violence. He was transported to the Hernando County Jail where he is being held on $750.00 bond. |
