| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents Miller pled guilty in Marion County Oregon Circuit Court on 02/05/2006 to one count of Rape in the Third Degree and one count of Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree. He was sentenced to 12 months in the custody of the Oregon State Department of Corrections for the rape charge and 365 days in custody to be served current for the sexual abuse charge. These convictions were the result of Miller sexually assaulting the unknown 15 year old female victim. Miller met the victim at the apartment complex he had recently moved into. Miller called her the next day and she accepted a ride from him to visit her friends at the apartment complex. During the drive Miller parked in an isolated area and tried to engage the victim in sexually activity. She declined and at that point he sexually assaulted her. Miller later provided the victim with both alcohol and marijuana for which he was also convicted of Delivery of a Controlled Substance to a minor. Upon his release from custody Miller moved to the State of Washington through an interstate compact agreement. Recently Miller has shown a pattern of behavior that increases his risk to re-offend sexually. Miller is on active supervision with the Washington State Department of Corrections, Marysville Field Office (360)658-2150, for a period of 48 months and has the following conditions: Do not associate with known drug users or sellers of illegal drugs Do not enter bars, taverns, casinos, or lounges or any location where alcohol is the primary item for sale Do not enter drug areas as defined by court or CCO Do not have direct or indirect contact with any victim Do not use , posess, purchase, or consume alcohol Do not use, possess or consume controlled substances unless you have a legally issued prescription Enter into and successfully complete a certified sexs offender treatment program as directed by community corrections officer Enter into and successfully complete certified chemical dependency treatment program Have no contact with minors Have no direct or indirect contact with convicted felons |
