| Narrative: | Brooksville Police officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart located at 7305 Broad Street reference a retail theft. Upon arrival officer’s made contact with Wal-Mart’s loss prevention personnel who stated the defendant SAMONA NAKEYA JACKSON was one of four suspects observed selecting over $368.00 of children’s clothing, school bags and comforters then exit the store without paying. The four suspects loaded the stolen items into a white Ford van and drove away. Loss Prevention was able to capture the license plate number which came back to an address in Pasco County. Pasco County Deputies were advised of the theft and asked to be on the lookout (BOLO) for the vehicle at the residence on record. Pasco Deputies made contact with the vehicle and suspects a short time later. Some of the merchandise was recovered. SAMONA NAKEYA JACKSON admitted to the theft and turned herself into the Brooksville Police Department. SAMONA NAKEYA JACKSON was arrested and transported to the Hernando County Detention Facility without incident. JACKSON is being held on a $2,000 dollar bond. |
