THE VICTIM REPORTED THAT APPROXIMATELY $5,095.00 HAD BEEN REMOVED FROM THE RESIDENCE. HE ADVISED THAT SEVERAL FIREARMS, POWER TOOLS, AND MUSICAL EQUIPMENT SUCH AS TWO GUITARS, HAD BEEN REMOVED. ON 052709 A VICTIM REPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE THAT SOMEONE HAD ENTERED INTO A MODEL HOME LOCATED AT 3427 WEST PINE RIDGE BOULEVARD BEVERLY HILLS FLORIDA, AND REMOVED SEVERAL PIECES OF FURNITURE VALUED AT APPROXIMATELY $12,000.00. ON 082409 I OBTAINED A SEARCH WARRANT FOR THE DEFENDANT'S RESIDENCE SIGNED BY CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE PATRICIA THOMAS TO SEARCH THE DEFENDANT'S RESIDENCE, FOR THE STOLEN FURNITURE. ON 082509 I SERVED THE SEARCH WARRANT TO THE DEFENDANT MS SHANNON HORNBUCKLE AND A CO-DEFENDANT AT 95 SOUTH LEE STREET AT 1005 HOURS. UPON ENTERING INTO THE RESIDENCE I IMMEDIATELY OBSERVED SEVERAL PIECES OF FURNITURE, WHICH HAD BEEN STOLEN FROM THE ABOVE MENTIONED MODEL HOMES. THE ITEMS OF FURNITURE MATCHED PHOTOGRAPHS THAT I HAD OBTAINED FROM REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MODEL HOMES OF THE STOLEN FURNITURE, PRIOR TO IT BEING STOLEN. WHILE SEARCHING THE RESIDENCE I LOCATED A RED AND WHITE ROGUE GUITAR IN THE LIVING ROOM. THE GUITAR MATCHED THE GUITAR THAT WAS REPORTED STOLEN FROM THE BURGLARY AT 57 SOUTH LUCILLE STREET BEVERLY HILLS FLORIDA. A SECOND SEARCH WARRANT WAS SIGNED BY CIRCUIT JUDGE PATRICIA THOMAS ON 082509 TO RETRIEVE THE GUITAR AND WAS SERVED ON THE SAME DAY. FURNITURE TAKEN FROM THE RESIDENCE DURING THE SEARCH WARRANT INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO: TWO COMPLETE BEDROOM SETS, A DINING ROOM TABLE WITH CHINA CABINET, A SOFA AND LOVESEAT, TWO COFFEE TABLES, MULTIPLE FRAMED PICTURES, AND MULTIPLE DECORATIVE PIECES SUCH AS ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS. THE DEFENDANT INITIALLY STATED THAT SHE PURCHASED A LARGE CHERRY SLEIGH BED THAT WAS LOCATED INSIDE HER RESIDENCE FROM BIG LOTS DEPARTMENT STORE. SHE ALSO ADVISED THAT SHE PURCHASED A CHINA CABINET IN HER RESIDENCE FROM KANE'S FURNITURE. THE DEFENDANT LATER STATED THAT THE ITEMS WERE PURCHASED BY HER HUSBAND FROM UNKNOWN FRIENDS FOR AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF MONEY AND NOT FROM STORES. THE CHERRY SLEIGH BED AND CHINA CABINET WERE ITEMS TAKEN FROM MODEL HOMES. THE DEFENDANT WAS THEN PLACED UNDER ARREST HANDCUFFED (DOUBLE-LOCKED) AND TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY. I LATER INTERVIEWED A CO-DEFENDANT WHO ADVISED THAT THE DEFENDANT SHANNON HORNBUCKLE KNEW THAT THE FURNITURE INSIDE HER HOME WAS STOLEN BECAUSE SHE HAD BEEN PRESENT WHEN ANOTHER CO-DEFENDANT TOLD HIM THAT HE HAD STOLEN THE FURNITURE. THE DEFENDANTS TOTAL BOND WAS SET $8,000.00 PER THE BOND SCHEDULE. *NOT-EXEMPT* |
