| Narrative: | The Brooksville Police Department Patrol Division reports that units responded to Walmart in reference to a retail theft in progress. While units were en-route to the store they were advised that the white male suspect had fled the area on foot and was last seen running towards the lawn and garden area of Lowes (7117 S. Broad). Units located Steven J. Bos hiding in the lawn and garden area of Lowes and was taken into custody. During the investigation it was found that Bos had concealed several health and beauty items on his person and had passed all points of sale. Loss Prevention employees made contact with Bos and attempted to stop him. Bos fled the store at this point. Bos was held at the Hernando County Jail on a $750.00 total bond for retail theft and resisting a merchant. |
