SUBMITTED BY: SHARPE, COREY 0636 (AR14-9284) did unlawfully enter or remain in a certain conveyance, to-wit: A 2002 GOLD KIA BEARING FLORIDA TAG 934NKG, the property of THE VICTIM, TIA PERUCHE, without said person's consent, with the intent to commit an offense therein, to-wit: PETIT THEFT, and the said conveyance was not open to the public at the time, and THE DEFENDANT was not licensed or invited to enter or remain in said conveyance, in violation of Florida Statute 810.02; AND DID UNLAWFULLY AND KNOWINGLY OBTAIN OR USE, OR ENDEAVOR TO OBTAIN OR USE THE PROPERTY OF THE VICTIM, TIA PERUCHE, TO WIT: A CODYâS ROADHOUSE PAYCHECK WRITTEN OUT TO THE VICTIM IN THE AMOUNT OF $238.00, SAID PROPERTY BEING OF A VALUE OF $1.00 WITH THE INTENT TO EITHER TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY DEPRIVE THE VICTIM OF A RIGHT TO THE PROPERTY OR A BENEFIT THEREOF, OR DID APPROPRIATE THE SAID PROPERTY TO HIS OWN USE OR THE USE OF ANY PERSON NOT ENTITLED THERETO, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATE STATUTES 812.014(1) and 812.014(3)(a). ON 022714, AT APPROXIMATELY 0242 HOURS, THE CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE received A REPORT OF A VEHICLE BURGLARY AT CODYâS ROADHOUSE RESTAURANT LOCATED AT 305 SOUTHEAST HIGHWAY 19, CRYSTAL RIVER. THE VICTIM ADVISED THAT PERSON(S) UNKNOWN HAD MADE ENTRY INTO HER VEHICLE, TO WIT: A 2002 KIA, BEARING FLORIDA TAG 934NKG, AND REMOVED A CODYâS ROADHOUSE RESTAURANT PAYROLL PAYCHECK MADE OUT TO THE VICTIM FOR $238.00. THE VICTIM ADVISED THERE WAS NO OTHER PROPERTY MISSING FROM HER VEHICLE. THE VICTIM ADVISED THAT IT APPEARED THAT THE SUSPECT HAD ACCIDENTALLY DROPPED THEIR CELL PHONE IN HER VEHICLE. THE CELL PHONE WAS A BLACK IN COLOR SAMSUNG GALAXY FIVE. THE VICTIM HAD NO SUSPECTS AT THAT TIME. ON 022814, AT 0134 HOURS, THE DEFENDANT, MR STEVEN DIGIGLIO, WAS ARRESTED FOR NUMEROUS VEHICLE BURGLARIES AND A RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY. ALL OF THE VEHICLE BURGLARIES TOOK PLACE IN THE CITY OF CRYSTAL RIVER, IN THE SAME GENERAL AREA AS THIS BURGLARY REPORTED AT CODYâS. IT WAS FOUND THAT THE CELL PHONE LEFT IN THE VICTIMâS VEHICLE IN THIS CASE BELONGED TO DEFENDANT STEVEN DIGIGLIO. IT SHOULD ALSO BE NOTED THAT THE SCREEN SAVER ON THE GALAXY CELL PHONE LEFT IN THE VICTIMâS VEHICLE DEPICTED THE CHILDREN OF DEFENDANT DIGIGLIO. DEFENDANT DIGIGLIO WAS CHARGED WITH AN ADDITIONAL COUNT OF BURGLARY TO A CONVEYANCE AND AN ADDITION COUNT OF PETIT THEFT WITH HIS TOTAL BOND SET AT $3,500.00 PER THE BOND SCHEDULE. |
