ON 070410 AT APPROXIMATELY 0932 HOURS, I WAS DISPATCHED TO HOWARD'S FLEA MARKET IN REFERENCE TO A THEFT THAT HAD JUST OCCURRED. UPON ARRIVAL, I MADE CONTACT WITH VICTIM ONE WHO ADVISED THAT A WHITE FEMALE IN HER MID TO LATE FORTIES WEARING A SUN DRESS HAD REMOVED SEVERAL PIECES OF JEWELRY FROM HER TABLE, HID THEM ABOUT HER PERSON AND ATTEMPTED TO LEAVE WITHOUT PAYING FOR THE ITEMS. VICTIM ONE ADVISED THAT SHE THEN FOLLOWED THE SUSPECT THROUGH THE FLEA MARKET AND BEGAN YELLING THAT SHE WAS FOLLOWING A THIEF IN ORDER TO DRAW ATTENTION TO HER. I THEN SPOKE WITH VICTIM TWO WHO ADVISED THAT HE DID NOT OBSERVE THE SUSPECT OR REALIZE THAT HE WAS MISSING ANY ITEMS UNTIL VICTIM ONE RETURNED THE MISSING ITEM TO HIM. I WAS ADVISED THAT THE SUSPECT ENTERED A BROWN ECONOLINE STYLE VAN WHICH LEFT THE AREA WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDE DOOR OPEN. I WAS ADVISED THAT THIS VAN THEN TRAVELED NORTHBOUND ON HIGHWAY 19 FROM HOWARD'S FLEA MARKET. I WAS PROVIDED WITH A POSSIBLE TAG NUMBER OF 9109IC, WHICH I FOUND COMES BACK TO A 1989 FORD VAN, BROWN IN COLOR AND REGISTERED TO A BONNIE CRIM POLSON, WITH A DATE OF BIRTH OF 031634 AND RESIDES AT 4039 WINDSWEPT AVENUE IN SPRING HILL, FLORIDA. A BOLO WAS ISSUED FOR THIS VAN. A TELETYPE REQUEST WAS SENT TO HERNANDO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WITH A REQUEST TO ATTEMPT TO CONTACT THE OWNER OF THE VAN, MS BONNIE CRIM POLSON. CONTACT WAS THEN MADE WITH DEPUTY LAMIA OF THE HERNANDO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WHO ADVISED THAT HE WAS OUT WITH A FEMALE, MS SUSAN BRADY, THAT ADMITTED TO HIM THAT SHE HAD STOLEN ITEMS FROM THE HOWARD'S FLEA MARKET EARLIER THIS DATE. THE DEFENDANT ADVISED THAT SHE WAS A KLEPTOMANIAC AND THAT SHE ADMITTED TO STEALING SEVERAL PIECES OF JEWELRY FROM THE VICTIM. THE DEFENDANT CONTINUED AND STATED THAT SHE RETURNED SEVERAL ITEMS BEFORE FLEEING THE FLEA MARKET AND BECAME SCARED AND THREW SEVERAL PIECES OF JEWELRY OUT OF THE VEHICLE WINDOW WHILE SHE TRAVELED SOUTHBOUND ON HIGHWAY 19 INTO HERNANDO COUNTY.
