Narrative: Brooksville Police Officer’s responded to Breseman’s Pawn Shop in reference to a suspicious person. Investigation found THOMAS ALAN BASILE was wanted for questioning in reference to a burglary. In the officer’s presence THOMAS ALAN BASILE had pawned 17 gold rings and a gold bracelet. He told the officers that his Aunt Nora Male had bought the jewelry at a yard sale and she gave him the jewelry to pawn. Contact was made with Nora Male who advised that the gold rings and bracelet belongs to her and she did not give THOMAS ALAN BASILE permission to sell her jewelry. Nora Male did go to Breseman’s Pawn Shop and positively identified the jewelry as hers. THOMAS ALAN BASILE was placed under arrest and transported to Hernando County Jail where he was charged and held on bond.
