Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents, Maxwell was found guilty by stipulated bench trial on August 27, 2003 and was given a minimum term of 78 months and maximum term of life in prison for the crime of Rape of a Child in the 2nd degree. The victim in his crime was a 13 year old male. The victim had just got off of the bus and was walking in an parking lot when Maxwell drove up to him and yelled something to the victim. The victim was asked if he wanted oral sex. The victim got into Maxwell's vehicle. Maxwell told the victim that he was on methamphetamine and the victim was frightened. The victim reports that he was too scared to get out of the car for fear of what Maxwell would do to the victim. Maxwell performed oral sex on the victim and then drove him to a 7-11 store and bought the victim a pack of cigarettes. Maxwell then gave the victim his name and phone number. The victim told his friends what had happen and the police were called. Maxwell was released from prison in December of 2010. Maxwell was on supervision from December of 2010 until March of 2011 at which time he violated his release conditions and was sent back to prison. He was released again on July 18, 2012. Shall not participate in youth programs, including but not limited to: Scouting, Athletic and school programs, or hold any position of trust or authority over a minor. Shall not possess or peruse pornographic materials. Shall not purchase, own, have in his possession or under his control any firearm or deadly weapon. Shall not remain overnight in a residence where minor children live or are spending the night. Shall not use, possess or consume any controlled substances without a lawfully issued prescription. Shall not use, possess, purchase or consume alcohol. Shall not work at or be in places frequented by minors. Shall submit to polygraph testing as required. Submit to breathalyzer testing as required by his Community Correctons Officer. |
