| Narrative: | On the above date and time, an officer of the Brooksville Police Department observed a verbal disturbance in the parking lot of the Hilltop Lounge near a white SUV. The officer made contact with the parties involved and another officer responded as back up. As the backup officer arrived, he observed Timothy Hunt toss a plastic bag from his hand. The officer then observed Hunt pick the bag up and walk to the rear of the vehicle he was sitting in and then around to the other side. The officer followed and noticed the bag on the ground at the rear of the vehicle. The bag contained 4 grams of powder cocaine and a rolled up $20.00 bill used to snort the cocaine. Hunt was then placed into handcuffs. A search of Hunt’s person, before being secured in a police car, revealed $3,220.00 in cash. The vehicle Hunt was in was impounded and stored at the Brooksville Police Department. The $3220.00 in cash was seized under the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act. Hunt was charged with possession of cocaine and booked into the Hernando County Jail on $10,000.00 bond. |
