| Narrative: | On the above date and time, officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arrival, they met with loss prevention who advised that they observed a female, later identified as Tina Araniecke, enter the store and select bicycle accessories from the shelf. She took the items out of their package and concealed them in her purse. She then exited the store without paying for the items. She was detained and the police were called. The stolen merchandise, valued at $81.00, was recovered by Wal-Mart. Araniecke’s 13 year old son was with her during the incident, but he was not charged. Araniecke was placed under arrest and charged with retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She is being held at the Hernando County Jail on $1,500.00 bond. Araniecke’s 13 year old son was released to his father. |
