DID UNLAWFULLY, WILLFULLY AND MALICIOUSLY INJURE OR DAMAGE CERTAIN PROPERTY OF MS MELISSA REEVES, TO-WIT: WINDSHIELD, HOOD AND FRONT DRIVER SIDE PILLAR, SAID DAMAGE BEING OF A VALUE OF MORE THAN $200.00 BUT LESS THAN $1,000.00, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATUTES 806.13(1)(A) AND 806.13(1)(B)(2) ON 100216, I RESPONDED TO THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH SNAPP AVENUE AND EAST JEROME STREET IN REFERENCE TO A DISTURBANCE THAT OCCURRED AT 147 SOUTH SNAPP AVENUE. UPON MY ARRIVAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH SNAPP AVENUE AND EAST JEROME STREET, I MADE CONTACT WITH THE VICTIM, MS MELISSA REEVES, WHO ADVISED THAT THE DEFENDANT, MR TODD WATERS JR, WAS TEXTING HER SISTER/WITNESS, MS HEATHER REEVES, THAT HE HAD THE VICTIMâS DOG AND THEY COULD COME PICK THE DOG UP FROM THE ABOVE LISTED ADDRESS. THE VICTIM STATED WHEN SHE PULLED INTO THE YARD SHE AND THE DEFENDANT WALKED INTO THE BACKYARD WHERE THE DEFENDANT TOLD THE VICTIM THE DOG WAS DEAD AND THAT HE HAD BURIED THE DOG. THE VICTIM STATED SHE TRIED TO LEAVE AND SHE AND THE DEFENDANT GOT INTO AN ALTERCATION. WHEN THE VICTIM WENT TO LEAVE AND WAS IN THE ROADWAY SHIFTING FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE, THE DEFENDANT THREW A PIECE OF TILE THAT HE FOUND ON THE GROUND AT THE VEHICLE THAT THE VICTIM WAS SITTING IN, CAUSING THE WINDSHIELD TO SHATTER AND GLASS TO COVER THE VICTIM WHO WAS SITTING IN THE FRONT DRIVER SEAT. THE PIECE OF TILE ALSO CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE HOOD AND FRONT DRIVER SIDE PILLAR OF THE VEHICLE. UPON LOOKING AT THE VEHICLE I OBSERVED A DENT WITH A DEEP SCRATCH ON THE HOOD. I ALSO OBSERVED THERE TO BE A HOLE IN THE WINDSHIELD AND THE WINDSHIELD TO BE SHATTERED, AND GLASS TO COVER THE FRONT SEAT AND CENTER CONSOLE. I ALSO OBSERVED DAMAGE TO THE FRONT DRIVER PILLAR OF THE DRIVER SIDE. THE DAMAGE WAS ESTIMATED TO BE APPROXIMATELY $750.00. I THEN MADE CONTACT WITH THE DEFENDANT WHO WALKED UP ON SCENE AT THE ABOVE INTERSECTION. THE DEFENDANT STATED HE WAS INVOLVED IN AN ALTERCATION WITH THE VICTIM AT THE SOUTH SNAPP ADDRESS. THE DEFENDANT THEN STATED HE DID THROW A PIECE OF TILE AT THE VICTIMâS VEHICLE, DIRECTED TOWARDS THE VICTIM WHO WAS SITTING IN THE DRIVER SEAT. THE DEFENDANT ALSO STATED HE THREW A SODA BOTTLE WHICH WAS HALF FULL AND WAS STILL LAYING IN THE ROADWAY IN FRONT OF THE SNAPP ADDRESS. AT THAT TIME THE DEFENDANT WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST, HANDCUFFED (DOUBLE LOCKED) BEHIND THE BACK, PLACED IN THE REAR OF MY PATROL VEHICLE, AND TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY. THE DEFENDANT'S BOND WAS SET AT $1,000.00 FOR CRIMINAL MISCHIEF $200.00 OR MORE, BUT LESS THAN $1,000.00 AND $10,000.00 FOR SHOOT/THROW DEADLY MISSILE INTO DWELLING/CONVEYANCE. THE DEFENDANTâS TOTAL BOND WAS SET AT $11,000.00 PER THE BOND SCHEDULE. |
